Hi, I'm Venecia, a qualified counsellor who works in North London and online, with a focus on trauma and neurodivergence.
If you’ve found your way here, it might be because you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to keep going. Perhaps you’ve experienced trauma that still echoes in your body or relationships. Maybe you’re exploring neurodivergence, with or without a diagnosis, and trying to understand yourself in a world that can feel too loud, too fast, or too much.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
I offer a calm, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming space where we can explore what it means to be you — beyond survival, beyond coping. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you connect more deeply with your inner experience and uncover what brings meaning, strength and possibility.
Together, we can work gently towards feeling more grounded, connected, and whole.

I’m a fully qualified counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My practice is guided by their Ethical Framework, which means I place respect, safety, and collaboration at the heart of everything I do.
I trained at The Gestalt Centre London and have worked with clients across not only private but also NHS and charity settings. My approach draws on Gestalt and trauma-informed principles, shaped by an understanding of how trauma and neurodivergence influence the way we relate to ourselves and others.
Gestalt therapy invites awareness of our emotions, body, and patterns of relating as a way to create change. Rather than focusing on “what’s wrong,” I’m interested in what your experiences mean to you, and what’s possible when those experiences are met with empathy and curiosity.
I work relationally: our therapeutic relationship becomes a space for understanding and repair. I also bring a neuro-affirming lens, honouring the ways your mind and body naturally work.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful and genuine. My aim is to offer a space where you can be fully seen at your own pace, in your own way.
Ready to take the first step? Feel free to explore more about my approach or reach out for a chat.
Life after trauma, or life lived while constantly adapting to an overwhelming world, can leave us feeling cut off; from others, from our bodies, from our sense of self.
Counselling offers a space to begin reconnecting.
Together, we might explore:
Through our work, you can begin to notice what you feel and need and to trust those signals again.
Healing doesn’t mean erasing your past; it’s about reclaiming your sense of choice, connection, and authenticity in the present.
My practice integrates awareness, compassion and creativity. Sometimes words aren’t enough, so we might include imagery, movement or metaphor which are always led by you, never imposed.
You don’t have to have a formal diagnosis or the “right words” to begin. This space is for you as you are.
People come to me for many reasons, often when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or hard to manage alone. You might be living with the ongoing impact of trauma, or navigating the world as a neurodivergent person in a system that doesn’t always make room for difference.
Counselling offers a space to pause, make sense of your experiences, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe and real.
